Lauren-Senior Session

I have mentioned before that one of my friends and mentor's is Trevor Dayley.  I absolutely admire him for so many reasons.  On Saturday I was going to be his 2nd shooter for a wedding and the day before he called me and said that he had a senior shoot early in the morning and wanted to know if I wanted to 'tag' along for that as well.   I decided to make it a marathon day with him.  We started off at 6:45 in the morning and got home that evening around 11:30.  It was a long, but awesome day!!  I love shooting with other photographers whenever I get the chance.  

Lauren was so amazing to shoot with.  She had a great personality and was gorgeous.  I seriously kept thinking to myself that I don't remember anyone looking like this when I graduated.  Seniors these years are so beautiful and grown up.  She was a blast and at the end 3 of her best friends joined us for the shoot.  They were a riot and you can tell they have SO much fun together!!

Paige-Senior Session

Man how time flies!  I haven't seen Paige in almost 8 years.  When her mom called and asked if I would take her photos I had to laugh because the last time I saw her I was doing her hair....In fact, they reminded me that the last time I did her hair was for a photo shoot.  How ironic...;)  Well as you can tell Paige is not a little girl anymore, she has grown into a beautiful adult and will be heading to college this year.  We had a lot of fun during out shoot with lots of laughs, rain storms, inside jokes, that we completely lost track of time for awhile. 

As you can see by some of the pictures, she has an obsession with texting...so of course I wanted to capture that since it is SUCH an important time in a teenagers life...okay who are we fooling, I am addicted to texting to. She also has a collection of purses.  Supposedly this is only 1/4 of them.  I know where to go if I ever need to borrow a purse considering all I have is.....1.  Yep, just 1 (and a diaper bag if that counts)

Thanks Paige for a great time!  You are beautiful and it has been fun to see you blossom into a beautiful young lady.  Good luck with all of your adventures!!

Hunter-Senior Session

This kid is amazing in every sense of the word.  I had met his mother years ago and immediately hit it off.  His mom and I have one of those relationships that we have possibly seen each other 3-4 times in 5 years but it was an immediate friendship and one that would last a lifetime.  Of course through text and FB, we have kept up throughout the years.  She has been a single mom for years and Hunter is her life.  When she  asked if I would take his Senior pictures while I was in AZ I was so excited!  

When I met them, I went to shake Hunter's hand and he immediately through his arms around me.  I knew we were going to get a long just great.  I LOVE hugs and knew that this kid had a big heart.  He played football for his HS team and won State the last two years in a row.  He has a full ride scholarship to Stephen F.  Austin State University.  All through the session I couldn't help but smile as I realized what an amazing mom and example Lisa has been to this boy and what an amazing kid Hunter was.  My little boy reminded me of Hunter.  Yes, I know my little boy is only 2 but he loves to play hard, and is strong but has a heart so big and loves to hug, laugh and make friends immediately.  I pictured Kaiden being just like Hunter when he got older and it made me happy.  Thanks for an amazing session Hunter and good luck with all of your goals and dreams in the future!!  You will do amazing things!!
