Baby Bella

This little girl was so incredibly sweet.  Her mom and I went to HS many....many years ago and haven't seen each other since then.  So we were trying to catch up on the last 10+ years, snap photos of Bella and entertain her 2 year old all at the same time :)  Overall, I think it was a success.  Bella was actually in the NICU for a few weeks and had just gotten out when we took these photos.  Congratulations Lindsey on such a beautiful little girl!!

 While Lindsey was trying to calm Bella down, I decided to snap a few pictures of what we did to entertain Nicholas......you guessed it!  Suckers...what every 2 year old wants ;) 

Yes, I do believe he was laughing at us ;)

Taylor & Hunter {Family Session}

I love my job because I get to spend time with the coolest people ever!  Brooke called me a few weeks ago and said they were coming into town from North Dakota and would love to get her kids photographed.  I of course was so excited because it has been almost 12 years since we had seen each other.  I love face book for reconnecting.  They drove 3 hours out of their way to meet up with me and we had so much fun.  Talk about some of the cutest kids ever!!  I can't really call Tai a kid though...I mean technically, yes, she is 13 but she looks like she is going on 18.  Sorry Brooke, but you are in BIG trouble!! Love your family!!

Baby Nixon-Newborn Session

Nixon was such a great baby and I had so much fun photographing him.  MiShelle, his mom kept putting a smile on my face throughout the session.  I think I heard her say at least a couple dozen times, "I love this baby."  The miracle of a baby and the love that a mother has for her child is amazing!   Their entire family is beautiful inside and out.  Thanks for the opportunity to capture some of these 'beginnings'

Izzie-Child Session

As you can see for yourself, this girl is ADORABLE!!  I held a cute kid contest a few months ago and the one with the most 'likes' won a FREE session with me as well as a headpiece from Bugabee Boutiques.  I loved it because her mom was so cute with the competition that she was making sure everyone knew about it and voted...and it paid off!  I was so excited when she won because you could just tell she was going to have a fun personality, and she didn't disappoint.  

This girl could go from a huge grin, to a scowl faster than anyone I have ever seen.  She gives kisses by sticking out her tongue.  I kept sticking out my tongue back at her, hoping I wasn't going to get caught...lol.  However, I did, and the mom started laughing and told me that she was giving me kisses....so I was happy to know that I was just being polite and returning those kisses ;)  I don't think I laughed so much throughout a session as I did with her.  We kept it short, fun and entertaining and I walked away so excited to get to my computer to edit.  In fact, I ended up cutting my trip short, since I was in Vernal photographing, just so I could get home and start working on the photos.
